A Son's Smile Strucks Our Hearts With Sorrow

This is about an act of unconditional love. I take my breakfast this morning with my friends whom are also my colleagues. We eat at the nearest restaurant. We pick a table which is just next to a mother-and-son's table. One of my friends say that the son is so pity. He looks at his mother who is eating a bowl of soto. The son has only given a cold water with no food for him. The mother looks so busy indulging herself with her food. And yes...when you take a look at the son...he looks so pity. But all you can see on his face is a smile. He seems like a "special" child that all he does is smiling and counting something with his fingers. My friend asks the hawker, why on earth only the mother is eating and the son doesn't. The hawker says that he will eat when the mother finishes with some leftover. And that sounds so sad :(. My friend orders a bowl of soto for him. When the food is served to him...he looks so happy. The looks of these mother and son strucks your heart with deep sorrow. We don't understand what had these fellows have gone through in life. If you look at their clothing, they dress well. Of course we cannot jugde them by their looks. When they finish, the mother leaves holding her sons hand safe and cross the road until they finally drift away from our sight. And that is an act of unconditional love from my dear friend :)

Dear God, I Just Don't Know

Until today I still can't decide whether to let go or not. I've made my mind to let You go but I found myself still standing where I stood, making no step forward. Looking backwards I found myself still thinking about You. Eventhough I don't show it anymore. Maybe...maybe...only by seeing You with another will finally push me say Goodbye. Because I don't want to look back with regret if I walk away now.

It's Love

Do you have a perfect heart? Do you protect it so well that it does not have any scars?

Looking Beyond The Simplicity

My calender for this month reminds me about Confidence. It says that it is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves. I got this calender from a friend from the IT company. A friend whom I dealed with regarding development of electronic data system. What am I talking about here is not that simple matter that she gave me a calender. Looking beyond to the gift she had for me, that simple thing affect my day. Why? Because each month has different saying for a worker like me. Sometime in my daily work, I tend to loose my confidence. And then when I set my eyes on the calender, there are the words that motivate me. What a thoughtful man he is... whoever designs the calender!

LOOKING BEYOND THE SIMPLICITY, THERE'S A HIDDEN THOUGHTFULNESS OF A MAN

Life Is Like A Cup of Coffee

The Doors

Dears.

What about the doors? Wooden or steel? Big or small? Durable or not? No, i'm not talking about the visible doors. I'm talking about the invisible ones. And i'm looking for the doors of happiness.

There are everywhere, hidden somewhere in the universe. The key is in your heart to unlock every possible door that will lead you to happiness. You can unlock as many doors you want to find the one that you really belong to.

Dears.

But don't forget. Just like the visible doors, they might get closed and couldn't be opened again with the same key you use to open them. Because somewhere in the middle of your life, troubles cross and damage the doors.

Dears.

What are going to do with the one that has closed for you? Would you just stand and knock it until it open up for you again? Well the good news is it might be opened up again. But the bad news is I don't know how long it will take to re-open. And there's a better news after all. Look around you. You might have overlook the presence of the other doors! There are lot more than you know. It only takes YOU to decide. :)

Reflection

"Be like the flowing river, Silent in the night. Be not afraid of the dark. If there are stars in the sky, reflect them back. If there are clouds in the sky, Remember, clouds, like the river, are water. So, gladly reflect them too, in your own tranquil depths." - Paulo Caelho

Dears.

Stop doing anything now but hold on..stay with me. Read again what Paulo has written above. Don't just look at the alphabets but hold on..open your mind to the meaning of the words. Take a deep breath and stay calm. Put yourself into the meaning of those words. Open your heart and plant them in it.

Now how do you feel? Only you know that :).
